St Botolph's Electoral Roll

St Botolph's Church Electoral Roll

It’s that time of year again. This year we need to update the Electoral Roll rather than a complete re-write, so if you know that you are already included, there is nothing to do, unless you have changed some detail, e.g. you got married and changed you surname or a change of address.

What is the Electoral Roll?

The Electoral Roll is the formal list of people who consider St Botolph’s Church their church home. Joining the Electoral Roll is a simple way to affirm your belonging to the church community and to take part in its life and future.

Benefits of joining the Electoral Roll:

•    It confirms your commitment and connection to the life and worship of St Botolph’s.
•    It encourages a sense of belonging and shared responsibility for the mission of St Botolph’s.
•    It allows you to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM).
•    You can stand for election to the Parochial Church Council (PCC) and help shape decisions.
•    It helps the church demonstrate the strength and size of its active congregation.

How to join

If you are not included in the 2025 version and you wish to be included this year, there are 2 ways to join.
1.    Complete one of the forms available in church and leave in the box for collection.
2.    Complete an online form below.

Note - You need to have been baptised to be able to join and be 16 or older. If you turn 16 between now and April 2027, you can join this year.

There is a printed version of the 2025 roll on the servery in church. Use this to check you are on it or to change some personal detail.
